Ohio, local sign-ups for health care a couple weeks away

October 1, 2013

While sign-up begins today for the new health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act, it could be mid-October before Ohio — and Washington County — are ready for sign-ups....

I wasn't correcting anyone....just stating an opinion and asking a question. It doesn't matter if the President saw the post or not. It is about the overall attitude of the American people like yourself. That is what I was talking about. I did think it was wrong for people to set around and bash President Bush. I didn't like a lot of things he did but I didn't set around and cry about it. I certainly didn't bash him just as I don't bash Obama or any President. You want to put "shame" on someone saying something about JoshBrown but you think it is ok for him to bash others...??? It sounds like you have the same attitude he does.

@ea33: Um I think that the President has more to worry about on a daily basis than what one poster is putting on a internet board about him. I bet that you did not "respect" and support Bush when he was in office anymore than Josh respects Obama. Do you wanna tell me that you corrected people that did and do bash Bush, really?

Hey Josh, maybe you should check out some anger management (maybe PTSD) services offered at the VA Clinic. It might help you change the negative way in which you see the world.

Governor Kasich, Rep. Johnson, and their cohorts were certain the TEA Republicans were going to hand the ACA back to the President and American public, broken, destroyed, and in shambles. But they were deluded. Watch out for Kasich and the TEA officials currently "serving" Ohioans. They aren't finished yet. They aren't planning to expand Medicaid as called for in the ACA. They aren't planning to serve the residents of Ohio at all. And buy the way, Medicaid isn't free as so many of you seem to think. Many, many people must pay a spend-down in Ohio, that's the equivalent of paying for private insurance.

You’ve got to hand it to those Koch brothers backed tea-party republicans who work diligently to return us to yesteryear. Those glorious days of robber barons, carpetbaggers, Pinkerton police, child labor, the triangle shirt factory, prostitute union busters just to mention a few. Back before cars and planes when ninety percent or more of Americans lived on small farms and horses, trains, and canals provided the chief means of transportation. No cell phones, internet, or computers, just Morse code to spread the news. A time when, if you lived to be sixty you were considered an ‘old timer’ but alas, those days are gone and they ain’t comin’ back.

How about we let ObamaCare run and see how it works. I am really tired of paying the hospital bills of people with no insurance.

Dear obama & democrats I'm a Veteran after 10 years of*****& happiness the best part of it I now know is that I don't have to enroll in your socialist program ! All I had to do was join the VA medical care see a doctor once a year that cost me nothing. I and my fellow Vet's have to pay NOTHING so please stuff it deep and hard where the sun don't shine.

How anyone can sign up when there are not any prices, coverage limits etc. with any real determination is beyond me.

Sorry for the typo: Raise your hand out there if you would be willing to provide your Social Security numbers, dates of birth, names and ages of children, addresses of employers, income and even health habits (do you smoke, drink) to part time “navigators”?
