Current Board members are doing a very good job...they have integrity and they admire the teaching faculty. This is not the same path that defines Lehman. Read his comments and tell me that he isn't going to create a mess. This is the exact reason why so many of his employees depart after a short time on his payroll. I have lived in Marietta all of my life and I am a good listener of others. Lehman needs to spend time with himself not hammering others.

Teacher- not sure what you mean from your statement. Don't know to agree or disagree. I took it as Lehman meant we're on our own as a school system. Maybe you took it that way also. I've been around Lehman at various fund raisers for sports and things. Him and his wife have put many, many hours of their time in support, which is better that 98% of the parents in this school system. Its time for a drastic change for the better in Marietta City Schools and he'll lead the charge.

"We are going to be, largely, on our own for the foreseeable future," says Lehman. Yep! He is right! It is no longer about community. Everyone is on their own.
