Man gets 10 years for local burglaries

A man wanted for crimes in several states was sentenced Wednesday in Washington County Common Pleas Court to 10 years in prison for the string of burglaries he and his wife committed locall....

Why can't these A Holes ever try to break into my home? Wow, would they be sorry they tried that!! If they would, there would not need to be talk of trials and sentences. Justice would be served.

Home invasions are hideous crimes. There is always a chance at someone getting killed when confronting a burglar.

Tessie, for some I feel both can be done at the same time...he'll be punished by losing his freedom and hopefully educated so when he is released he can lead a productive life...too bad all those incarcerated don't take advantage of the help they could receive...he states he will, we'll have to see...

Riggs said he plans to get a college education while in prison. Prison is to rehabilitate and punish. I think punishment needs to come first.
