From what I've heard, this guy has been a problem and menace since he was young. But I'd never heard of him inflicting injury on himself. It was usually others he would beat up on and terrorize. So apparently he finally cracked. And to be homeless too, jail time will at least get him off the streets for a little while, but I don't think it'll fix anything. If he's willing to go as far as inflicting knife wounds on himself, what will his next moment of desperation lead to? That's just my opinion.
