Stupid article with more stupid quotes: “Vienna, W.Va., resident Jon Benedetti is a volunteer at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge, which was shuttered for the duration of the shutdown”. Yes sir let’s close that island in the middle of the Ohio River. I wonder how the wild life survived? Another quote refers to “16-day partial shutdown”. Partial shutdown? That is proof that the Administration picked the winners and losers of the shutdown based on how much pain could be inflicted on it citizens. Federal Workers? Win, they got all their back pay. Losers, just think of Panda cam, Boat Ramps, Mount Rushmore, Grand Canyon. How about all Open Air, non gated monuments in Washington DC where barricades had to be brought in because no fence or barriers ever existed previously? Money had to be spent to actually keep people from going to visit places where there was never any obstructions to begin with.

Oh yeah, don't forget to close the office that provide mortgage help.

It's all Bush's fault. And the Republicans are the ones who orchestrated this whole shut down. Dems are for helping the poor and downtrodden and are more interested in what's best for the country. Just give Obama another 3 or 4 years to "radically change this country"!
