Yes Greek, you must have missed the story on republican volunteer, Anita White. I think the tea party is a bunch if crackpots, but then that's my opinion. I also think if the repubs had any balls they would denounce them , also my opinion. Does that mean I'm a bleeding heart liberal? No ,I have voted more times for repubs than for dems, but with wacko tea party latching on to and taking over the republican who are nothing but obstructionists, I won't in the future.

To The Greek. Look back to Oct 28th MT edition. The title is: Paying it forward: GOP honors woman for campaign work. Her name is Anita White.

Tessie: I don't agree with republicans either. I am totally independent, and have the advantage of working for the politicians in local government for over 32 years. They are all alike, as they have been infected by their respective "party boss". There is no cure.

Congratulations to Mr. Ray. Mentoring others is often an underrated, under-appreciated task, going unrecognized.

Hockey and Rolling, just because you disagree with Democrats doesn't mean you have to make negative comments all the time. Lighten up! People can agree to disagree without being vicious most of the time.

Congrats to Mr. Ray. We always enjoy reading his column in the Times. Now if I only could get my teen to read it!
