So you guys want to arm teachers with guns? How about that lady in the article below. What if she was never caught and then the school system and state armed her to fend off "bad people with guns" well truthfully you just armed another bad person legally. Teachers are not saints, I remember a teacher from the Canton area that worked at MHS was partying and giving drugs to students in the very late 1990's.

BlueOhio - and if schools don't prepare them and this unlikely event happens, parents will sue for millions because the school did not take "reasonable action to prepare" their students.

newworld - We have a firedrill every month. Google number of deaths in schools by fire compared to number of deaths in schools by school shooters. Why would you not have more than one. A student dying by getting shot in school is more likely than one dying by a school fire.

It is a shame that this has come to this. If a perpetrator new that the teachers or someone else in the school were armed……………………………

This is sort of the modern version of "duck and cover." There's money to be had in making people fearful of extremely unlikely events.

Awesome job Deputy Warden and thank you Sherriff Minks for taking the lead and supporting this type of training so that our educators can better protect our young ones.

Is this all Warden does anymore??He used to be involved with a lot at Minks sheriff office, but now it seems he is just an errand boy for Minks!Guess he is on Minks bad side now.
