Nice story. Seems to be a win/win situation for both the people and the dogs. Dogs can promote healing for people who haven't been reached any other way.

I had an issue with a female guard from that institution, driving a gold Honda Pilot, 7 years ago in the Marietta WalMart parking lot.

It seemed that she thought that she, wearing her little guard uniform as some form of bestowed public 'authority', should be able to tell me where to park in the marked parking areas.

It's good to hear that the inmates there MAY have some humanity to deal with, other than that little tyrant.

Kunectdots, seven years is a very long time to hold a grudge against someone who instructed you where to park. I urge you to let go of such things because they weigh down your heart and make for a troubled mind. Move on for your own sense of peace.

Are you sure it wouldn't be more therapeutic to just weld her****shut in a 55 gal. metal drum and throw it in the river? LOL!

BTW - You weren't there to hear the 'flavor' of her instructions. If ANYONE did it you, I'm certain you too wouldn't forget it. AND it wouldn't have to come from some little snip that didn't have any logic concerning what she was blowing off about, nor did it make any sense. She was just used to be able to unquestionably shoving people around, behind bars, and thought her 'authority' extended to the streets. I, as a law-abiding, tax paying civilian was in no mood to take her tripe (and I still have her license number). HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
