That place needs to be shut down! Home confinement for Mr. Elliot? Does that mean he won't hanging out at the Galley now? What do you want to bet that he won't be closely monitored like the "common criminals" in the area?

The EPA has way too much power--easy to flex their muscle because no one is pro-pollution or pro-killing (supposedly) endangered species or pro-destroying endangered species habitats. Trouble is defining what is what and keeping politics and favoritism out of it. Stay objective.......

It's about time! I worked there several years ago. There was no concern for the safety of those who worked there. Not only did they violate the EPA, but the OSHA violations were never ending! People have died due to the complete neglegence of the company. Scott Elliot is a crook! He is personally responsible for the people who have gotten hurt or died at his facilities. Countless people have been effected by his callous drive for the almighty dollar. Notice the ground is black all around that place! You can't see the massive black cloud that comes from that place at night. We breath and drink carcinogens that come from that place. Not to mention those who work there that are directly exposed and unprotected. Lock him up, throw away the key and shut that "death trap" down!

Let me get this straight. MIE used legally approved alternate methods to eleviate a possible hazard as allowed under it's permit but failed to notify the EPA, as required by EPA's tin horn gods rules; that it was using those legally approved alternate methods? Okay, I'll go along with the fines but jail time and nearly 6 months home confinement? Seriously? Is there more to this story then being told or is the EPA again flexing it's muscles just to prove how much power it has?
