We have done an aweful lot to promote tourism; and like Harley said; "it ain't" there anymore.

Got rid of parking meters; less toruists; building a transportation hub; less tourists; create a booze district; less tourists.

People just aren't travelling this way.

Tour buses have pretty much abandoned the area. I remember seeing tour buses several times a week. I haven't seen to many as of late.

What else can we do? Please don't waste this bed tax money.

I'd like to see some of this bed tax go to local townships also. The oil and gas industry is contributing a lot to the bed tax; so help the townships out on their roads with a little of this bed tax.

I am 100% behind tourism, and this money going toward CVB. But we're talking upwards of a 3/4 of a million dollars here. I'd like to know a little more on where that money goes, and how efficiently/effectively it's being used.
