Don't fight the Po Po you stupid idiot. Glad they were able to subdue this guy. An individual who will assault a law enforcement officer is a danger to society Hope the officers are all right.

Four to one and they still had to use a taser. Whatever happened to the old billy club to the back of the legs.

I just got this vision of the movie The Hangover where the police do a TASER demo in front of the school field trip.

“Whatever happened to the old billy club to the back of the legs.” What happened? A wonderful safety invention happened: the taser.

To hit the back of the legs with a billy club, our policeman had to stand within swinging and grabbing range of the perp. With a taser, the officer can more often take control at a safe distance.

I say tase at the first sign of aggression and continue tasing ‘till the perp gets on his stomach and puts his hands behind his back. If it takes 10 officers and 10 jolts by the taser, it is still fair. This is not Marietta versus Warren where each team is limited to play only a certain number of players.

No doubt an arrest is a far more complicated task than I make it out to be here. But our officers’ safety is too important to allow an aggressive subject, however highly hopped up or disturbed, to get close enough to hurt the officer. Pull your taser early and shoot to remove doubt, not to confirm certainty.

I am certain that the ACLU and other "do-gooders" will feel sorry for this criminal. Simpleton.

How many lawsuits have the sc*m trial lawyers brought against cops and cities for "improper" use of tasers? Therefore, they can't just start launching those things at a whim.

No mention of drugs at all. More than likely drunk and belligerent. Maybe the police should just shoot people that way we would't have to mess around with trials and due process.

Part of running a responsible liquor establishment is making sure patrons dont get over served to this point...the Adelphia should have known better

I don't recall seeing a reference to the Adelphia at all, hmm? Nor did I see mention of this guy actually being IN the restaurant. Maybe I need new glasses eh? Galley is a nice restaurant. Aldelphia is a nice club. Not to be compared to some of the other so called "clubs" in this town.
