Another exercise in futility. Baseballs and mason jars against a murderer with a firearm is absurd. What is missing is the on-site equal force of a trained, volunteer person in school admin, teacher staff, janitorial or bus driver to bring a gun to the gunfight and defend the defenseless students and staff, in a timely manner. When seconds count, the Rapid Response Team will be there in minutes. No disrespect to the L.E.O.s. They are not quartered on school grounds, so it is not their fault they get there in time to I.D. the bodies. It may take a few more Sandy Hooks before the "brains" of the nation's school operations get wise.
