If the planned shooting range is to be located in the basement of the new expansion, then the location would be superior to about any above ground facility. Sound suppression would be naturally taken care of and the escape of a flying round would be virtually impossible. A motorcycle would cause more noise than this range. A variance should be allowed.

I agree about changing the hours of council meetings so that more members of the public can attend. Changing the hours also insures that working people can run for council. Currently, holding council office requires a very flexible work schedule, flexible self-employment, or not working, in order to attend meetings. The reality is that most people can't attend the meetings. I know there are several council people who prefer it that way.
