Waste of money...it wouldn't cost nearly as much for regular maintenance and upkeep. We can spend this money on an already good building but whine about spending it on education which is the future of our country.

I used to feel skeptical about money being spent on public buildings rather than services and roads, but after seeing how well public buildings are maintained in other countries, I think it's our duty to the taxpayer to keep that property in a good condition & well working order. But what about the power grid!? Etc.
