Both of them knew better, Tessie is right, it doesnot matter how old you look, and how much they think she wanted them . If you are underage, you are a minor. That means its against the law. If there was consent by the young teen, it was null according to the law, and now there is a baby / evidently neither man cared enough to use protection? .Was breaking the law to have sex with a minor worth it guys?

They did exactly what they wanted to do to her...

And she did exactly what she wanted to do with them??...we don't know, but with the state not going for rape I'd say they didn't have the evidence or testimony...the man was charged with what they could prove, statutory rape...jmo

In Ohio, if the offender is ten or more years older than the other person, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor is a felony of the third degree.

It doesn't really matter if the girl willingly engaged or not. Two adult men, one of whom was a coach and teacher, unlawfully had sexual contact with an underage girl.

You can try to justify their behavior any way you want. They can try to blame this on alcohol and the judge can delude himself into believing this.

I'm not deluded. They did exactly what they wanted to do to her and given the opportunity again, they would probably do the same thing.

Having sex when you're 25 is something one does with a willing, legally consenting adult. It's a crime when the other person is 15.

I'd say she wasn't raped persay, she was having relations with these guys and got pregnant, otherwise the state most likely would have went with rape if they had her to testify...just my guess...with that said the men were 25 and knew better with or without alcohol...

Again, the writer implies with this article that the convicted adult man had a consensual sexual relationship with a 15 year old. The law says this is rape whether she consents or not.

These two guys want to blame alcohol for their actions. I don't buy it and neither should anyone else. As for this man being involved in the life of the baby who is a product of rape, what are these families and the judge thinking?!?!?!

How about thinking about the baby and his or her child mother? How would you like to know this was the circumstance of your conception and have to interact with the man who impregnated your 15 year old mother through statutory rape?

I really don't get this way of thinking.

A former bus driver for the Rosemont Center could have received nothing more than probation for having sex with a 14-year-old boy on her bus. But a Franklin County judge sentenced Amanda Brausey to 30 days in jail, telling her yesterday that she didn’t seem to understand the seriousness of her actions.

Why is the punishment always less for a female?

"If I walk into Giant Eagle and you're shopping, I don't care if you're buying bread, you can't be in there."

This guy is going to have a hard time grocery shopping...is there any grocery store in this town that doesn't sell alcohol??...
