Totally support these commissioners, who are doing what commissioners did before Cora came along. She was incapable of anything but micromanaging others and constantly threatening investigations on anyone who saw through her. Nice to know we have commissioners willing to do what they were elected to do!

Successfully doing without Mr. Cunningham's services for 4 work days isn't a telling experience. Come back with a story 4 or 6 months from now when deadlines have been missed, paperwork missing, chaos everywhere. There should be news then. 4 days????

Good for the commissioners! Very pleased to be getting my money's worth and hope other county and city departments follow their example.

But I have to ask, WHY is this even a story? Again? It's clearly not to congratulate Comms. White and Feathers for making a fiscally responsible move. Sure it's unusual for government to do so, but employers increase and decrease their workforces every day. Was the guy they got rid of, who'd jumped from one gov't job to another for years, some sort of sacred cow? Or is all this hullabaloo just because he was Cora's pet? Here' a newsflash for you, guys: Ms. Marshall LOST her seat on the County Commission, she doesn't rule the roost there anymore, it's no longer her little fiefdom. (Apparently she's not the only one who can't seem to grasp that reality.) Move on!
