@Tessie I believe there should be some kind of code but I find it to be overreaching. It is no ones business if I have one car, two cars, or three cars in my driveway nor do I think it is right to have the police enforcing this law because if they dislike something about your property and since it is a criminal misdemeanor then they have the right to enter your house without a warrant. I believe in the fourth amendment and our Bill of Rights. Other than being overreaching I had no problems with it until they said the police were going to enforce it.

This is a perfect example of why the new property code has been created and why it must be enforced. This house should have been razed after the first fire. Instead, our city's firemen have had to put themselves at risk unnecessarily and the taxpayers must foot the bill for fighting the THIRD fire at an abandoned house.
