Man charged with raping stepdaughter
From Staff ReportsAn Amesville man was arrested Saturday and charged with sexually assaulting his 14-year-old stepdaughter, the sheriff's office announced.
Milton R. Roberts Jr., 40, is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $500,000 bond, according to a Marietta Municipal Court clerk.
The sheriff's office was contacted by Children Services in Athens County about an assault that occurred when the 14-year-old girl, who lives in Jacksonville, Ohio, was visiting relatives in Amesville in January or February, according to a release from Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks.
Roberts admitted giving the girl the alcohol, removing her pants and assaulting her, the release says. He was arrested and charged with rape.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in municipal court.

Well, I hope all the "do-gooders" have their say. Just feed, clothe, house him for many years. That will fix him! No, the only he will learn not to re-offend is to torture him for a long time. If he gets out and does re-offend (not likely), then we go to the next level which he will not be able to tolerate.

Are you serious BrianW? He admitted to giving her alcohol, and the rest. I don't think a conviction will matter to you, either. And Buttercup, there's no "e" in castration and that probably wouldn't stop him anyway. Just an area with a ridiculously high rate of pedophilia. Prison's the only place for them.
