Matheny-Decker

Sheila Ann Matheny and David Dwight Decker were united in marriage on May 16, 2008, at the Marietta Shrine Club. Pastor Jim Kelly officiated for the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Paul Frum and the late Virginia "Jenny" Frum, and the stepdaughter of Louise Frum of Bens Run, W.Va.

The bridegroom is the son of Evelyn Decker and the late Dean "Pat" Decker of Marietta.

The bride wore a self-designed off-the-shoulder ivory chiffon full length gown that featured a bodice embellished with sequins and pearls, and a detachable flowing chiffon train. She wore a pearl studded headband and carried a hydrangea and ivory rose bouquet that she created.

Maid of honor was Tori Melissa Matheny, daughter of the bride. She wore a soft chiffon yellow floor length gown. Bridesmaids were Temperance Kay Matheny, daughter of the bride, who wore a chiffon lilac gown; and Debbie Johnston, who wore a deep violet gown. The bridal attendants carried bouquets of hydrangea and yellow roses.

Flower girl was Katlynn "Kati" Vincent, granddaughter of the bride. She wore a tea length white dress adorned with lilac flowers and tossed yellow rose petals as she walked down the aisle.

Best man was Eddie Pahl, business partner of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Paul Frum, father of the bride. Ushers were Matt Miller, Pat Decker, Aaron Cheesman and Craig Frum.

All the centerpieces and wedding decorations were designed and created by the bride and her bridesmaid, Debbie Johnston.

Lynn Richardson and Alyssa Johnston served as receptionists for those attending.

Those attending included special guests Pearl Williamson and family of Sistersville, W.Va., the bride's aunt; and Kate Anderson and family of Marietta, the bridegroom's aunt.

Music by Jack Horton and dancing followed the sunset ceremony at the Marietta Shrine Club.

The bride has been employed by Kraton Polymers in Belpre for the past nine years.

The bridegroom is the owner of Decker Construction Co.

After a honeymoon to Rivera Mia, Mexico, the couple are residing in Parkersburg.

Rasmussen-Campbell

Jill Marie Rasmussen and Christopher Joseph Campbell were married on Sept. 7, 2008. The wedding was held on a sunny day at the beach in Cannon Beach, Ore., near the couple's home in Portland. The Rev. Kenneth Calebaugh of Williamstown First Presbyterian Church officiated for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Ken Rasmussen of Williamstown.

The bridegroom is the son of Sharon and Joseph Campbell of Pocatello, Idaho.

Maid of honor was Nikole Gettings and bridesmaids were Jennifer Snyder and Katherine Lavin.

Best man was Jeffrey Stratton and groomsmen were Andrew Stratton and Walker Hagius.

The flower girl and ringbearer were the bride's godchildren, Julie-Lynn and Tucker Dunaway.

After the wedding, the couple took a honeymoon cruise to Alaska.

Robinson-Decker

Doug and Diane Robinson of 529 Third St., Marietta, announce the marriage of their daughter, Kylee Katherine, to Benjamin Michael Decker.

The June 21, 2008, wedding was held at The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Marietta High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University. She is self-employed as an independent consultant for Arbonne International.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington, Pa., and a graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. He is employed by New York Life.

After a honeymoon to Puerto Rico, the couple are residing in Daniel Island, S.C.

Holland-Thomas

Jesse Ryan Thomas and Brittany Lynn Holland were married on July 26, 2008, at the Little Chapel of the West in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Leah Engle of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Terry Holland of Anacordas, Wash. She is the granddaughter of Daniel and Phyllis Sutphin of Hixson, Tenn., and Don and Thelma Holland of Corsicana, Texas.

The bride is a graduate of Walker Valley High School in Cleveland, Tenn., and received a degree in animal behavior science at Chadsworth, Ga. She is employed with Tanco Engineering.

The bridegroom is the son of Susan Fickeisen of Whipple, and Howard Thomas of Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Thomas of Beckley, W.Va., and the late E.R. Thomas, and the late William and Betty Erb of Marietta.

He is a 2000 graduate of Marietta High School and is employed as a foreman for Tanco Engineering.

The couple are currently residing in Ogden, Utah.

Miller-Miller

Katie Ann Miller and Anthony Ryan Miller were united in marriage on Feb. 16, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Marietta. The Rev. David Bilyeu officiated for the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Rhonda Miller of Marietta.

The bridegroom is the son of Terrie Houser of Rutland, Ohio.

The bride wore a white satin dress with pink rhinestones and long lace sleeves. Her bouquet of white and pink roses was wrapped in a handkerchief lined with pink roses that had belonged to the bride's great-grandmother.

Maid of honor was LeeAnn Carpenter of Marietta, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Carpenter of Marietta and Tori Slonaker of Marietta, both cousins of the bride. They wore tea rose gowns with spaghetti straps and carried bouquets of pink and white roses.

Best man was Matt Miller of Marietta, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Andrew Miller of Marietta, and Luke Miller of McArthur, Ohio, both sons of the bridegroom.

Guests were registered by Jess Miller, the bride's sister-in-law.

The bouquets and floral arrangements were made by Sherida Atkinson, the bride's cousin.

A reception followed at the Marietta Township Park and Recreation Center in Reno. The reception was catered by Brenda and Jim Brower, the bride's aunt and uncle. Music was provided by "Big D" Karaoke.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2001 graduate of Washington State Community College with an associate degree in accounting. She is currently employed as an internal auditor at Mountain State Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Meigs Local High School and is currently employed by United Refrigeration Inc. of Parkersburg.

After a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., the couple are residing in Marietta.
