Pioneer Pipe Inc. was recently honored at the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee's (NMAPC) eighth annual Zero Injury Safety Awards Banquet held at The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
The NMAPC presented Pioneer Pipe with Zero Injury Safety Awards for the construction and maintenance work Pioneer Pipe has performed at the following facilities:
- Americas Styrenics (formerly Chevron Phillips) plant in Marietta.
- Colgate-Palmolive plant in Cambridge.
"Safety is our company's number one priority, and it was with great pride that we accepted these awards on behalf of our 500 employees across Ohio and West Virginia who strive to work safely every day. It was also a pleasure to accept these awards with two of our long-standing customers, Americas Styrenics and Colgate-Palmolive, because these awards would not have been possible without their full support, cooperation, and input," said Mike Archer, vice president of operations of Pioneer Pipe.
The NMAPC's Zero Injury Safety Awards program was designated to recognize safety. To date, there have been more than 56 million work hours recognized under the program.
Based in Marietta, Pioneer Pipe has been locally owned and operated for more than 25 years, specializing in general, mechanical, and electrical construction, pipe fabrication and installation, steel fabrication and erection, modular fabrication and erection, contract maintenance, and plumbing and heating.
It annually employs more than 500 people across Ohio and West Virginia.
