Erin Rochelle Doutt and Eric Joseph Davis were united in marriage on Jan. 17, 2009, at the 10th and Clairmont Church of Christ in Cambridge, Ohio. Brother Jim Moore officiated for the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Brent and Kathy Doutt. She is the granddaughter of Everett and Alma Lea Bates, and Amos and Wilma Doutt; and the great-granddaughter of Gladys Larrick, all of Cambridge.
The bridegroom is the son of Carl and Susan Davis of Lewisville, Ohio. He is the grandson of Lewis and Mary Messenger of Barnesville, Ohio, and the late John and Nellie Davis.
Guest book attendants were Katelyn Larrick and Chelsea Doutt.
Misti Dempsey served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Doutt, sister-in-law of the bride; Angela Davis, sister of the bridegroom; Kelly Larrick; and Niki Shields.
Emma Dempsey served as flower girl.
Casey Ackerman served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Doutt, brother of the bride; Carl Davis, father of the bridegroom; Mark Atkinson; and Dustin Parden.
Ayden Snodgrass, cousin of the bride, served as ringbearer.
A reception followed at the Eagles Club in Cambridge.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Cambridge High School and earned a diploma for medical assisting in 2001 from Bradford School. In 2008, she graduated from Belmont Technical College with an associate degree of applied science, nursing. She is a registered nurse at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Monroe Central High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor degree in civil engineering. He is a transportation engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation in Marietta.
After a honeymoon to the Bahamas and Key West, the couple will make their home in Lowell.
Rebecca Jane Byers and David Paul Stockwell exchanged vows on Oct. 18, 2008, at Fort Boreman Historical Park in front of family and friends. The Rev. Kenneth Calebaugh officiated for the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Mary Beth Byers of Parkersburg.
The bridegroom in the son of Dr. David and Beverly Stockwell of Columbus, Ohio.
Matron of honor was Katy Pettiss, sister of the bride. Best man was Eric Stockwell, brother of the bridegroom.
Ringbearer was Gavin Pettiss, nephew of the bride.
An instrumental interlude was performed by Dr. David Stockwell, father of the bridegroom; William Stockwell, uncle of the bridegroom; and Lynn Stockwell, sister of the bridegroom.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony at the Leavitt Family and Reception Center.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She received her bachelor of science in psychology from Ohio Valley University in 2002 and her bachelor of science in nursing from West Virginia University in 2007. Prior to her marriage, she was employed as a registered nurse at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. He received his bachelor of science in chemistry from Marietta College in 2001. He is a doctoral candidate at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., where he will receive his Ph.D. in physical chemistry in 2009. He is currently employed by Quantronix Laser Corp. in East Setauket, N.Y.
The couple are currently residing in Port Jefferson (Long Island), N.Y.
