"The Boomerang Express" will be the theme for vacation Bible school this year at North Hills Baptist Church, 108 Stonecrest Drive, Marietta.
Vacation Bible school kick-off day will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13. The fire department will be at the church with fire trucks and demonstrations. There will also be inflatable slides, food, drinks, games, fun and surprises.
Australia will be the destination for the VBS, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon each day, June 15 to 19, for children from 4 to 12 years of age. Children will learn about Peter and other missionaries. There will also be crafts, games and surprises. A free lunch will be served at noon. There will also be a competition to see which team donates the most pennies for missionaries.
Family time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, June 21, with parents invited to come to see what their children did during vacation Bible school.
