Shuman-Ingram
Katrina Bridget Shuman and Drew Michael Ingram were united in marriage on April 25, 2009, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Southbridge, Mass. The ceremony was performed by Father Leo LeBlanc.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Eileen Shuman of Brattleboro, Vt. She is the granddaughter of Mary and the late Joseph McCarthy, formerly of Malden, Mass., and John and Betty Moynihan of Everett, Mass.
The bridegroom is the son of Debi Mercer Ingram of Little Hocking, and T. Michael and Maria Ingram of Okeechobee, Fla. He is the grandson of Marjorie and the late Billie Mercer of Little Hocking, and Okey Ingram and Ethel Ingram, both of Parkersburg.
The bride wore a strapless satin A-line ivory gown with beaded lace details and a long sleeve, floor length lace jacket that also featured beading and pearls. Her headpiece was a pearl and diamond headband tiara with an elbow length single-tiered ivory veil with pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory roses and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Elizabeth Shuman of Brattleboro, Vt., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jill LaPoint of Buffalo, N.Y., and Sarah Terk of Derry, N.H. Marina McCarthy of York, Maine, a cousin of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid. They wore satin navy blue cocktail length dresses with a matching organza sash and carried bouquets of ivory roses.
Best man was Nicolas Mehl of Belpre. Groomspeople were Matthew Wires of Belpre, and Stephanie Wren-Kiefer of Chesapeake, Va.
Hudson Auerbach, of Holly Springs, N.C., the bride's cousin, served as ring bearer.
Readers at the ceremony were Maryhelen Shuman-Groh and Kathy Boland, both aunts of the bride; and Stefanie Waller.
A reception followed at the historic Publick House Inn in Sturbridge, Mass.
After a wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va., the couple are currently residing in Marietta.
