Jaime L. Ridenour

COOLVILLE, Ohio - Jaime Lynne Ridenour, 33, of Coolville, lost her battle with a brain injury on Monday, July 20, 2009, at The Arbors in Marietta.

Jaime was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of Beryl and Linda Wilson. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1994 as salutatorian and from Shawnee State University in 1998 with a physical therapy assistant degree. The following year she was employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department. She was a member of the Ohio Child Conservation Club of which she was currently secretary.

Jaime was a loving wife and devoted mother. She was very athletic from her early school years through college playing softball, volleyball and basketball. In recent years she had an interest in running and participated in many local races.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Jared Ridenour; daughter, Sydney Marie Ridenour, and son, Justin Lee Ridenour of the home; two brothers, Todd (Robin) Wilson of Loudonville, Ohio, and Aaron (Shawn) Wilson of Athens, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Virginia Wilson of Williamstown; brother-in-law, Jason (Natasha) Ridenour of Reedsville, Ohio; very special mother-in-law, Roberta Ridenour of Pomeroy, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Jaime was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hilda and Bernard Stanley; paternal grandfather, Beryl Wilson Sr.; and father-in-law, John B. Ridenour.

Private services were held for the family at the Anderson-McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio with the Rev. Norman Butler officiating. Burial followed at the Chester Cemetery in Chester, Ohio.
