The Wolf Creek Board of Education will have its regular monthly meeting at about 9:30 a.m. Monday, following the board's annual breakfast.
Belpre council to meet Monday
Belpre City Council will meet at its regularly scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. Monday in council chambers at 715 Park Drive, Belpre.
Satellite health clinic planned for Beverly
The Washington County Health Department will conduct a satellite clinic from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Beverly Congregate Nutrition Site at the John Dodge Senior Center, 218 Fourth St., Beverly. Childhood immunizations for students entering kindergarten or starting junior high school are available for $10. The Ohio Medical Card is also accepted. Blood sugar screenings are $3. Blood pressure checks are free. Adult immunizations can be given with prior notification. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Salem cemetery has a new addition
Salem Township trustees have opened a new addition in the Salem Township Cemetery.
Anyone wanting to purchase a lot may do so by contacting trustee Ernie Biehl at 585-2825, Bob West at 585-2374, Bill Kidd at 585-2547 or fiscal officer Marcella Fleming at 585-2546.
Barlow pageant is seeking entrants
Applications are being accepted for the 2009 Little Miss and Little Mister Barlow Pageant. Girls and boys ages 3 to 6 who are residents of Washington County are eligible to participate.
The pageant will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Barlow Fairgrounds.
Contestants will be asked questions about themselves and what they like about the Barlow Fair. Attire is Sunday best. All contestants will receive a treat bag. There is no entry fee to participate. Judging is based on response to questions, personality and appearance.
Deadline to enter is Sept.18.
