OVU hires new
recuiting coordinator
VIENNA, W.Va. - Ohio Valley University welcomes Brad Wilson as coordinator of recruiting and retention for OVU's Master of Education program.
According to Daniel Doak, chair of the School of Graduate Education, "Brad's new duties will include generating leads on potential students, giving presentations on behalf of the university, and assisting potential students with admission to the university and the graduate education program."
Prior to working with OVU, Wilson was a language arts teacher and varsity coach at Barnesville Exempted Village Schools in Barnesville, where he taught literature, English and speech communication.
While teaching, he was head varsity baseball coach for 26 years and head varsity golf coach for 12 years. Wilson also served as a language arts teacher and assistant coach in Bowerston, Ohio.
OVU hires associate bible professor
VIENNA, W.Va. - Ohio Valley University Dean of College of Biblical Studies and Behavioral Sciences Michael Moss announced that Kevin Youngblood has been hired as an associate professor of Bible.
Youngblood's new duties will include teaching courses in Old Testament, preaching, Hebrew and Greek.
Prior to working with OVU, Youngblood served as an assistant professor of Bible at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
Christian college hires new registrar
VIENNA, W.Va. - Sarah Barton has been appointed registrar at Ohio Valley University.
Barton's new duties will include maintaining student records, coordinating course scheduling, assisting with institutional effectiveness and awarding program degrees to graduate.
The registrar's office works closely with student life and admissions to help with recruitment and retention of students.
