Area airport reports increase in flights
The Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport reported a 160 percent increase in enplanements for the month of November 2009 versus November 2008.
"During the month of November we had a 96 percent completion rate for flights and the number of enplanements rose approximately 160 percent from a year ago," said Terry Moore, MOVRA manager.
November had a total of 476 enplanements, an increase from a year ago with 292 enplanements in November 2008.
Moore also noted that the public should look for schedule changes effective Jan. 5, 2010, for departures to better accommodate business travelers.
