Many churches will be staging Christmas pageants, but not all of them will have characters like the Herdmans, who are featured in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!"
The youth of Evergreen Bible Church will be presenting the Christmas classic on Saturday morning, Dec. 12, at the church at 113 Ellsworth Ave., behind Hadley Funeral Home.
The Herdmans are the meanest kids in town and they don't even go to church, so why would they want to be in the pageant? The community is invited to attend the play to find out why.
Prior to the play, a free pancakes and ham community breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The play will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Gift bags will be given to all children in attendance. All events are free and the public is invited.
