Hospital hires new director of rehab

Stacey Richards, BS, MPT, is the new director of Rehab Services at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg.

She joined St. Joseph's in 2007 as a part-time physical therapist with the hospital's rehab team.

In addition to her tenure at St. Joseph's, Richards has also provided physical therapy services at Southeast Ohio Rehab and SunDance Rehab over the past 10 years. Her past work experience consists of outpatient orthopedics, home health PT, and rehab in a long term facility.

Richards began her education at The Ohio State University with a business administration degree. After graduating from OSU, she worked as a rehab tech for several years before getting her PTA degree. She then went on to get her master's in physical therapy from the University of Findlay.

Originally from Vincent, Richards graduated from Warren High School. She and her husband, Rob, have three children - Wes, 19; Halle, 16; and Reese, 5.

Woman becomes food consultant

Tonia Moore of Belpre has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct sales company featuring easy-to-prepare foods.

As an independent business owner, Moore offers food samples at home taste-testing parties, along with easy ideas for everyday meals, recipes, serving suggestions and fun. All of Tastefully Simple's products can be prepared by adding only one or two ingredients.

Accounting firm

raises food for drive

Local families will have more food for the holidays thanks to the efforts of employees at Rea & Associates.

Employees of the CPA firm's Marietta office raised 915 pounds of food as part of a firm-wide drive that raised 24,000 pounds among the firm's 11 offices.

Each office donated its collected food to a different charity. The Marietta office collections will benefit the Marietta Community Food Pantry.

Firm-wide, employees donated an average of more than 100 pounds of food per person.

Rea & Associates Inc. is a regional certified public accounting and consulting firm with 11 Ohio locations.
