Morrison-Duffey
Celena Beth Morrison and Clyde Earl Duffey were united in marriage on June 6, 2009, at First Baptist Church in St. Marys, W.Va. Pastor John Strimer officiated for the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sonny and Bev Davis of St. Marys, W.Va., and John and Jodi Morrison of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Clara Fetty and the late Charles Fetty Jr., and Mary Morrison and the late James R. Morrison, all of St. Marys, W.Va.
The bridegroom is the son of George Duffey and the late Charlotte Duffey of Lowell.
The bride wore an empire waist gown that featured a halter neckline and a corset style lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of lavender calla lilies and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Erica Vanesse of Marietta. Junior bridesmaid was Bethany Morrison and flower girl was Mary Beth Morrison, nieces of the bride. They carried bouquets of lavender calla lilies.
Best man was Paul Bibee of Marietta. Ringbearer was Jonathon Morrison, nephew of the bride. Assisting the bridegroom were Justin and Chris Morrison, brothers of the bride.
Amanda Danielson served as guest registrar.
Music was provided by Beverly Crossley of Vienna, W.Va. Vocalist was Beth Maston of St. Marys, W.Va., aunt of the bride.
A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.
The couple met while working at Ryan's Steakhouse in Marietta.
They are now residing in Belmont, W.Va., after a honeymoon at Blackwater Falls State Park.
