Campus Excursion at Ohio Valley Univ.
Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va., will be hosting a Campus Excursion on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27.
The experience will provide an opportunity for high school freshmen, sophomores and church youth groups to explore a Christian, liberal arts campus.
"Excursion is designed for freshmen and sophomores, as well as whole youth groups, to get students on campus at an earlier age to take a 'fun peek' at OVU," said Amy Bortell, OVU director of admissions. "Whereas Encounter takes a more academic and serious look for juniors and seniors, Excursion offers younger high school students the opportunity to experience the lighter side of campus life."
The Campus Excursion is free and open to all high school freshmen, sophomores and church youth groups. The structured experience will allow students to have the opportunity to discover what college life is really like. The event will include an opportunity to spend the night in the dorms. Students must register in advance.
