Corrections for 3-9

March 9, 2010
The Marietta Times

- Officials from the city of Marietta have proposed that Washington County pay for 11.7 percent of the $19 million Marietta Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade and usage of the plant under a regional sewer agreement. Incorrect information appeared in Friday's edition of The Marietta Times.

The Times regrets this error.

Clarifications

- Assuming a 3.5 to 4 percent yearly inflation rate, the total probable cost to renovate the former Ohio Bureau of Employment Services building into a new Marietta Municipal Court would have been $3 million in 2000; $3.5 million in 2005; $4.1 million in 2010; and $5 million in 2015, according to the M+A Architects presentation to Marietta City Council's lands, buildings and parks committee March 3.

- Marietta water customers who wish to pay their bills with credit or debit cards, or by e-check, may use a computer station in the water department office on the first floor of 304 Putnam St. There is no public computer station available at city hall.

The Marietta Times strives for full and accurate reporting. If you see an error in fact, call (740) 376-5446. Corrections will be published promptly in this space.
