My recent article on illegal dumping in our county apparently is a concern of many other citizens.
I have had calls and comments from several people who feel the same as I do. Hopefully, our elected officials were some that read this article. We not only need illegal dumping laws but enforced laws with recycling.
The sanitation companies and recycling trailers works well for our county and city. I have friends and family who do not have this service available. What goes in our Earth is not good for the environment and our health.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks permitted Sergeant Lagasse and Sergeant Arnold to use incarcerated people to pick up the 55 bags of trash along Ohio 550. I understand they have done the same on other roads. We thank these men for their efforts.
