A gospel sing with New Jerusalem bluegrass group will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at Victory Temple Church. The church is off West Virginia 47, turn left at new stop light and follow signs. Everyone is welcome.

Big sale Saturday near Vincent
Living Faith United Methodist Church is sponsoring a "Big Sale" will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at 6775 State Route 339, between Veto and Vincent. All proceeds go to the building fund.
There will be crafts, flea market items and yard sale items. A food booth will be on site. Vendors are welcome and spaces and 12-foot by 12-foot spaces are available for $10. Participants must furnish own tables, chairs and canopy if desired.

Service planned for Frontier grads
The Frontier Fellowship of Christian Students will host its seventh annual baccalaureate service for graduating seniors at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Frontier High School. The Rev. Byron Bufkin from Newport Methodist Church will deliver the sermon. The love offering will be donated to the Sherman family of Sitka that lost their home to a fire in April.
Chicken barbecue
at Caldwell church
St. Michael's Holy Name Society is sponsoring a chicken barbecue on Sunday, May 30. Dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with take-out available. The menu includes 1/2 chicken, baked potato or chips, baked beans, cole slaw, roll, dessert and drinks.
A square dance will be from 8 to 11 p.m., with the Little Creek band playing. There will be afternoon and evening games.
The church is on Ohio 260, east of Caldwell.
Marietta church to host Bible School
Marietta First Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a "High Seas Expedition" Vacation Bible School from June 14 through 18 for children 3 years old through sixth grade. "High Seas Expedition" fun begins at 6 p.m. each evening and ends at 8:30 p.m.
Children will be able to make new friends, play wild games, make crafts, have snacks, music and Bible adventures.
Parents can pick up pre-registration forms from the church office at 100 Mill Creek Rd. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
