Pick-up date for Angel Food orders
Angel Food Ministries orders are to be picked up at Second Congregational Church from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19. If the signature box was ordered, bring a box to put the order in. The other units are pre-boxed. Orders not picked up will be donated to food pantries.
Fundraising dinners at St. Mary Church
St. Mary's School Class of 2011 will be holding two fundraising dinners on June 21 and June 22. The meal on June 21 will feature pasta/meatballs with bread, salad, applesauce, green beans, drink and dessert for $7.
The June 22 meal will feature beef and noodles with baked potato, bread, salad, corn, drink and dessert for $7.50. Each meal will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. Mary Church Social Hall, 500 Fourth St., open to the public, GOBA riders welcome.

Former Reds great to conduct service
Former Cincinnati Reds great and current Gospel evangelist, Eddie Milner, will be conducting a special youth service on Father's Day, June 20, at Marietta Church of God, 501 Colegate Drive, Marietta, during the morning worship service. The service will begin at 11 a.m. He will speaking on "Fathers and Sons."
Milner was an all-star player and centerfielder with the Cincinnati Reds from 1979 to 1988. He was born and raised in Columbus, where he now resides. He has been evangelizing for over a decade now.
Speaker for service a psychology prof
Ryan May, a Marietta College professor of psychology, will be the speaker for the morning worship service on Sunday, June 13, at First Church of the Nazarene, 100 Mill Creek Road, Marietta.
The children will be included in all aspects of the service. The youth will be in charge of the evening service which begins at 6 p.m. with Pastor Caleb Reiss as speaker. Following the service, the church will end the week of celebration with an all-church ice cream sundae party hosted by the youth and children's departments. Everyone is welcome.

Gigantic yard sale at St. Bernard's Church
The St. Bernard's youth group is having a gigantic yard sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 18, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 19, at St. Bernard's Church hall in Beverly.
All proceeds to benefit St. Bernard youth activities.

Church picnic to be held at Boaz Baptist
Boaz Baptist Church will hold its annual church picnic at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 13. The public is invited. Bring a dish to share. Activities begin at 2 p.m. and include a large backyard inflatable, games for all ages, and gospel music. The picnic will be held at the picnic shelter adjacent to the church.
Gospel sing planned at Victory Temple
Victory Temple Church will be having a gospel sing at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 12, featuring Delivered. Everyone is welcome.

Series resumes with 'The Four Horsemen'
Myron K. Guiler, pastor of the Marietta Bible Center Church, will continues his series at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 13, through the book of Revelations. This week's message will be, "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." Joe Offenberger will bring the message at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Bluegrass festival in Cambridge Saturday
The third annual Bluegrass Gospel Fest began Friday, June 11, and will continue at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Spring Valley Campgrounds in Cambridge. There is no admission charge (love offering only). The festival is being presented by the Guernsey Gospel Jubilee Association.

Recycling event at Zanesville church
"Go Green!" a community recycling event, will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, in the parking lot of Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 N. Maple., Zanesville.
Goodwill Industries Inc. and Coburn United Methodist Church, with help from business sponsors, joined forces for "Go Green!" Paper, cardboard, old computer equipment, small appliances, plastics, and metals can be recycled. Workers and volunteers will be present to take recyclables in a "drive-through" setting.
'Save Driving' event for senior citizens
FaithLink is offering a "Safe Driving" event for persons age 50 or older from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 16 and 17, at First Presbyterian Church, 1341 Juliana St., Parkersburg. The event is being taught by an AARP and FaithLink volunteer.
