Kristy Lynn Porter and Brian Michael Davis were united in marriage on May 8, in a double ring ceremony at Christ United Methodist Church in Marietta with Pastor Doug Stockton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Teresa Porter of Beverly. She is the granddaughter of Olive Porter and late the Ernest Porter and the late Virgil and Lucille Sparks.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Sharon Davis of South Webster, Ohio. He is the grandson of Margaret Davis and the late Aaron Davis and the late Jack and Della Mae Barton.

The bride wore a strapless wedding gown made of alencon lace and tulle, embellished in a lace chapel train. She carried a bouquet of pink gerbea daisies, pink and white carnations, lisianthus, and roses, accented with pink astilbe.

Matrons of honor were Mindy and Angela Porter, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Denise Hall, Erica Fulton, Danielle Barr and Courtney Davis, niece of the bridegroom. They wore knee length black dresses and carried bouquets of pink gerbera daisies, lisanthus and roses. Flower girls were Mercedes and Amelia Miller. Guests were registered by Jessica Jones.

Best man was Scott Dearing. Groomsmen were Gordon Givan, Sami Chanaa, Craig Miller, Seth Kuhner and Wesley Davis, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Ryan Myers and Scott Nathan. Ring bearer was Connor Jennings.

A dinner reception and dance followed at the Marietta Shrine Building.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2002 graduate of Shawnee State University. The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of South Webster High school in South Webster, Ohio and a 2001 graduate of Shawnee State University.

After a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica the couple are residing in New Albany, Ohio.
