Kelly Edgar Offenberger and Daniel Louis Hendrix were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 26, at Newport United Methodist Church with Rev. Byron Buffkin officiating the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Joani Reese.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Vicka Edgar of Newport. She is the mother of Savannah Offenberger. She is the granddaughter of Howard and Jackie Edgar and Carl and Pat Carte.
The bridegroom is the son of Carrol Hendrix, of New Matamoras, and Mark Hendrix. He is the grandson of Louis and Alice Hess of New Matamoras.
The bride wore a gown of ivory Italian chiffon with fitted bodice, angled pleats in the center with metallic embroider heavily beaded in silver beads and Swarovski crystals. Straps were over the shoulders in beads. It had a sheer back bodice in embroidery and beads. The skirt was a straight soft chiffon with chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red roses wrapped in white satin.
Flower girl was Savannah Offenberger, daughter of the bride, and ring bearer was Sawyer Curry.
A reception and dance was held at the Marietta Country Club in Marietta.
After a wedding trip where the couple went ghost hunting in historic Gettysburg, Pa., the couple resides in Newport, Ohio.
