Kylee Ann Best and Chad Douglas Knox were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m., Sept. 19, 2009, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Churchtown. Father Virgil Reischman the officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Judy Best of Churchtown. She is the granddaughter of Annamae and the late Edward Brooker and the late Donald and Helen Richey Best.
The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Cathy Knox of Marietta. He is the grandson of Jean Offenberger and the late John Becker and the late Robert and Lela Knox.
Maid of Honor was Lacey Best, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Henke, Amy Davis and Angela Knox, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Katie Brooker, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Seth Deem. Groomsmen were Karl Graham, and Trent and Corey Best, brothers of the bride. Ringbearer was Kyler Graham, godson of the groom.
A reception and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Fort Frye High School. She graduated from Washington State Community College with an associate degree in medical administrative assistant, and graduated from Shawnee State University with a bachelor's degree in business and health management. She works at Marietta Memorial Hospital as a patient registration clerk, and will graduate from the licensed practical nurses program in November from Washington State Community College.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Warren High School. He graduated from Washington State Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He also obtained a paramedic certificate from Hocking College in 2003. He is currently a volunteer firefighter and paramedic at Devola Volunteer Fire Company, a paramedic for St Joseph's Ambulance Service, and a Flight Medic for Air Evac.
The couple honeymooned in Virginia Beach, Va. and are residing in Devola, Ohio.
