Brittney Nichole Foggin and Nicolas Lee Friend were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony on Sept. 10, at the courthouse in Parkersburg, with Judge Waters officiating. A buffet reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian K. Foggin of Vienna. She is the granddaughter of David H. Foggin, the late Garnett L. Foggin of Vienna, William A. Woolard, and Debbie I. Woolard of Parkersburg.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Lee Friend Sr., of Shelbyville, Ind. He is the grandson of Joyce Friend, and the late Clearance Friend of Greensburg, Ind., Jane Boyer, and the late Rex Boyer of Greensburg, Ind.
The bride wore a full length white gown with shear straps and silver sequins. She carried a bouquet of purple and silver calla lilies.
Maid of honor was Ashly Morris of Parkersburg. Bridesmaid was Kara Foggin of Vienna, sister of the bride and the flowergirl was Jessica Foggin of Vienna, sister of the bride.
Best man was Craig Morris of Parkersburg.
A wedding a trip to Vero Beach, Fla. is planned, and the couple will reside in Vienna.
