West Virginia voters should back Raese

October 9, 2010
The Marietta Times

OK, let's say the NRA, the second largest lobbying organization in Washington, D.C., likes the West Virginia governor's Second Amendment position, as you reported. Most polls of voters agree with Manchin as governor. Most polls do not want him in the Senate. Let's keep him in the mansion for two more years.

Putting Manchin, as a Democrat, in the Senate would strengthen not weaken the anti-gun present Democrat majority. He could be partially responsible for keeping the Democrats in the majority continuing to put anti-gun ownership liberals as chairmen of key committees appointing anti-2nd Amendment judges, and pushing restrictive laws. This is in addition to other disasters like government restrictive medical care, huge deficits, cap and trade, higher taxes, etc.

John Raese is a true conservative whose election will work to stop the harm coming to our country. And by the way he has an "A" rating from the NRA.

Needless to say the same arguments apply to our critical Congressional House races in West Virginia and Ohio. McKinley will contribute to stopping Pelosi and the other causes for our problems we are leaving to our children and grandchildren.

Elect Raese and McKinley and keep Manchin in the Manchin and Pelosi in San Francisco.
