Binegar-Huggins

Tracy Jo Binegar and Kirk J. Huggins were united in marriage on June 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Barbara Binegar of Marietta and the granddaughter of John and Ethel Schoeppner and the late Roy and Katherine Binegar.

The bridegroom is the son of Kirk and Julie Huggins of Cincinnati, and the grandson of Sue Anderson and the late Bob Anderson, and the late Daniel and Ruth Huggins.

Officiating was Monsignor John Michael Campbell. John Ontko served as organist and Tim Binegar, brother of the bride, was the soloist.

Paul Howlett, of Chicago, Il., served as the man of honor and Laura Cobb, of Sandusky, was the bridesmaid.

Kirk, Sr., father of the bridegroom, served as best man and Tim Binegar, brother of the bride, was groomsman.

Scripture readings were read by Kelly Faires, cousin of the bride, and Elaine Vlachos , cousin of the bridegroom. Registry and program assistants were Holly and Heather Booth, cousins of the bride. Guests were ushered by cousin of the bride, Kevin Walker.

Memorial flowers were carried and presented in memory and honor of love ones by Layne Marshall, Eli and Sam Boyd and Logan Weber, all cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Leah Marshall, cousin of the bride.

Several Irish traditions were observed throughout the ceremony. The reception was held at Marietta College Thomas Hall Great Room.

Tracy is a graduate of Marietta High School and Ohio and Xavier University. She is a teacher at Pattison Elementary School in Milford.

Kirk is a graduate of Purcell Marion High School and is currently working on his teaching degree at Xavier University
