Belpre chiropractor attends conference

Dr. Brian Eaton, of Belpre, recently attended and completed an advanced study in Integrated Nutrition hosted by Texas Chiropractic College and Standard Process Inc. of Columbus.

The course of study emphasized applied kinesiology (muscle testing) and nutritional supplementation. The course was taught by Dr. Walter Schmitt, a director on the board of the College of Applied Kinesiology and a diplomated in neurology.

Eaton has been in practice for 26 years in the Mid-Ohio Valley, and resides in Belpre with his family. Eaton emphasizes care of the human frame, diet and lifestyle coaching to help patients regain their health and vitality.

Chamber offering trip to Italy

The Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce is offering an eight-day trip to Italy from March 16 to 23, 2011, for chamber members and Mid-Ohio Valley residents.

The cost per person, double occupancy (based on 30 participants), is $2,499. The package includes roundtrip airfare, six breakfasts and two dinners with wine, professional tour director, deluxe motor coach, admissions and sightseeing per itinerary, baggage handling, hotel transfers and Whisper Systems for the Florence Walking tour. Tour highlights include four nights in Florence, a Florence walking tour, Galleria del' Accademia, the statue of David, Giotto's Bell Tower, Santa Croce, Tuscany, Sienna, Duoma, Piazzo del Campo and two nights in Rome.

Local realtors receive award

Realtors Lydia Donnelly, Sharon Hoffee and Shannon Robinson, with Cranston Real Estate, Marietta, have been awarded the "President's Sales Club" Award of Achievement designation from the Ohio Association of Realtors (OAR).

OAR officially awarded 2,053 of its members "President's Sales Club" designations in four levels for outstanding sales performances in the real estate industry.

Honorees were recognized at a President's Sales Club dinner during OAR's 100th Annual Convention from Sept. 12 to 15 in Cincinnati.

All OAR members in good standing were eligible for the award.
