Faye Farmer of Marietta and Vernon Morehouse of Belpre announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Ray and Virginia Farmer of Marietta. She is a graduate of Vinton County High School and a graduate of Valley Beauty School.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of the late Ronald and Bernice "Bunnie" Morehouse of Newport. He is a graduate of Frontier High School and served in the U. S. Army.
An open invitation church wedding is being planned.
