Carmen Joy Knuppe and John Patrick Safstrom, of Fairview, Texas, along with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Howard and Delores Knuppe of New Underwood, S. D. She is a 1994 graduate of New Underwood High School and 1998 graduate of Mankato State University. She is currently employed as product development manager at JCPenney in Plano, Texas.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Patrick and Sharon Safstrom of Washington, W. Va. He is a 1998 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and West Virginia University in 2002. He is self-employed as a licensed home inspector in Allen, Texas.
The March wedding is being planned in the U.S.Virgin Islands.
