Janet L. Ware died on Wednesday (Feb. 9, 2011) at her home in Marietta.
A native West Virginian, she received both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree from West Virginia University. She retired after a career as a classroom teacher which spanned four decades.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday (Feb. 14, 2011) at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Parkersburg with Father Yesu Golla and Monsignor Michael Campbell as celebrants. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg
