From TV to Ohio Valley Opry

American Idol contestant, Chase Likens from Point Pleasant, W.Va., will be appearing at the Ohio Valley Opry on Saturday, Feb. 19. Likens is a sophomore at Marshall University, and recently made it through to the "Hollywood" round of the Fox TV show.

Likens has appeared on the OVO numerous times in the last five years, and his brand of country and gospel music has made him a crowd favorite.

Also appearing will be The Clarks, Britney Bennett, The Ray Brothers, Erica Dodge, Beth Sigler, Rebecca Starlin, Brenda Strahler, Bethany Ray, and country comic, Uncle Doofus.

The restored Twin City Opera House, on the square in downtown McConnelsville, is the home stage of the Ohio Valley Opry.

Shows start at 7 p.m., and the doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission, and $10 for reserved seats.
