Allen and Stephanie Miller of Marietta announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Louise, to Patrick Anthony Burns. She is the granddaughter of Dr. Paul and Virginia Powell of Marietta. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. John and JoAnn Burns of Eagle, Idaho.
The couple are presently living in Asheville, N.C. where wedding plans are in progress.
