Veronica Lynn Watson and Adam Francis Ramirez, together with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charlie and Betty Watson of Vincent.
She is a 2005 graduate of Warren High School, a 2008 graduate of Hiram College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and a 2010 graduate of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine with her master's in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She is currently self-employed and opening her own acupuncture clinic.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Frank Ramirez of Tucson, Ariz. and Debra Rickner of Hilliard, Ohio. He is the grandson of Victor and Miriam Ramirez of Columbus.
He is a 2002 graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School, a 2006 graduate from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in human resources. He is currently employed by the corporate office of Red Roof Inn in Columbus.
The couple will be married Friday, May 6, 2011, in a private ceremony in Tulum, Mexico. A stateside reception being planned for June 25 in Worthington Ohio.
