The next stop on this season's historical ride for Marietta College men's basketball is 5:30 p.m. Friday in Wooster.
The College of Wooster's Timken Gymnasium will be the site of Marietta College's sectional round game against top-ranked Whitworth University from Spokane, Wash.
The No. 11 Pioneers (27-3) advanced to the "Sweet 16" with a 67-62 win over No. 25 Centre (Ky.) in the first round and a 63-62 victory over Wittenberg in the second round. Both games took place at Ban Johnson Arena this past weekend.

Whitworth (27-1), one of three teams to receive a bye in the first round, advanced to the sectional round by posting a 77-63 second round win over Chapman (Calif.) Saturday night.
Host and No. 5 Wooster (27-2) will battle Cabrini College (24-5) from Radnor, Pa., at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the second game of the sectional.
The winners will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday for a trip the NCAA Division III "Final Four" March 18-19 in Salem, Va.
