Amanda Michayla Goosman and Joshua Robert Dunn, both of Marietta, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Jean Goosman of Reno. She is the granddaughter of the late Otis and Dorothy Francis of New Matamoras.
She received her associate degree in business from Washington State Community College in 2007 and is employed by McCarthy Dentistry, LLC.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Michael and Melody Hardesty of Lowell and Angie and Jeff Riley of Marietta. He is the grandson of Ralph and Mazie Dunn of New Matamoras, the late Jim and 'Pee Wee' Hardesty of Marietta, and Travis and June Ours of Lowell.
He received his associate degree in automotive technology and diesel technology and is employed by Ingram Barge, Inc.
The couple are members of Valley View Baptist Church in Reno.
The wedding is being planned for Oct. 21 at the Shrine Club in Marietta with a reception immediately following.
